I was deeply moved to hear recently about the passing of Steve Cohan. During our High School years he was one of my closest friends. We went our separate ways when we headed off to college and never saw each other again. Steve was a great friend and a guy I just enjoyed hanging around with during our High School days. I will always remember this genuine guy. Rest in peace, friend.
Steve and I crossed paths on social media about four or five years ago. Through a classmate and mutual friend, I became aware of his health issues. He faced them with grace and dignity, and I enjoyed trading emails with him the past few years of his life.
