JOHN HIGGINSON JR. M.D., 55, a highly respected Physician died at home in Somers Point on Sun. May 2, 2004. He was raised in Havertown PA and Ocean City NJ. He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Carolyn (nee Turner); his son, Christopher and daughter-in-law, Catherine and granddaughter of Beckley WV. His devoted mother, Virginia James Hoeveler of Ocean City NJ; a sister and brother-in-law Jill and Michael Hipkiss and their daughter, Jennifer of Malvern PA; 2 sisters-in-law Kathy S. Turner of Sewell NJ and Laurie Barnes of Stoddard WI; aunt and uncle June and Joseph Appleton of Ocean City NJ and Melody Nidorf, his office 'right hand' for 26 years of Ocean City NJ. Dr. Hoeveler maintained a private practice in Somers Point NJ. A Service of Memory and Love will be offered on Wed. morning at 11 A.M. at St. Peter's Methodist Church, 8th & Central Ave, Ocean City NJ. Friends may attend a Viewing between 9 to 11 A.M. prior to the Church Service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
