CARL JAMES DIETER, 74, of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022.

Carl was born in Havertown, PA on December 21, 1947. He was the son of the late Zander and Elizabeth (Briggs) Dieter.

He retired as a salesman from Doan Ford, having worked at several other dealerships in the Ohio Valley over his long career.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Erika; two brothers, Frank and Todd; two nephews Brett and Eric; and niece, Amy.

In addition to his wife, Deborah (Scarfo), he is survived by his son, Matthew Z Dieter and daughter-in-law, Kristen Dieter, Zionsville, IN; two grandsons, Grayson and Oliver Dieter; two sisters-in-laws, Carol Dieter and Nancy Dieter; and three nephews, Kurt Dieter, Scott Dieter and Andrew Dieter.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Keller Funeral Home, 615 Hanover Street, Martins Ferry, OH where friends will be received Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 4 to 7 p.m.
