I didn't know Bruce well but I did know that whenever someone had a house party I knew I could find him in the kitchen with some others who loved to sing acappella.  They were always very good, as good as anything from any "Rocky" movie. And Bruce was a very nice person.  I'm glad to hear that he continued singing.  It's a "Philly" thing that's worth remembering.  RIP Bruce.

If my memory serves, I used to ride the trolley to 69th St. on Saturdays. I clearly remember one specific Saturday, being in the last car and harmonizing on the new song du jour,  "Workin' in the Coal Mine," with Bruce. It wasn't a planned date, just happened to be on the trolley with him that day, and no one else was in that car. Singing was all I cared about doing, and I loved singing with Bruce. Always sorry that I lost touch with those with whom I shared memories that are still so vivid in my mind, even after all these decades. RIP, Bruce. Such a good guy, gone too soon.
