Margaret was one of my closest friends at Haverford. While we were in the same violin section  in junior high, I  think we really got to know each other in home-ec, and standing in line to shoot basketballs in phys ed.  (We tended to stay at the back of that line as much as possible, and let the real atheetes in the class, like Sue Mahan, take more turns).  I can also remember Margaret trying to teach me to drive stick,  which resulted in her VW Beetle bouncing backwards up the hill on Ridgeway Road!.

We tost touch in the 1970s, but through the miracle of the Internet, found each other again about 15 years ago, and had a lively correspondence for several years.  In addition to her own health problems, I know the loss of her husband Don hit her very hard.  Always kind, gentle, and  sympathetic, I'm sure she made a wonderful minister.

Condolence cards, I just leanred,, can be sent to ""Margaret Rasmussen Olson's Family' in care of the funeral home, at the address listed in the obit.
